Tequila Works, the developer behind the likes of the sublime Rime and intriguing VR murder-mystery The Invisible Hours, has confirmed its formerly Stadia-exclusive action-adventure Gylt will. Remember Gylt Perfectly fair if you don't: It's a singleplayer action-adventure horror game created by Rime studio Tequila Works, and it released in 2019 as a Google Stadia exclusive. The game that originally launched in 2019 as an exclusive launch title on Google Stadia, arriveds today to new platforms. The game is described as “an exploration adventure with action, stealth and environmental puzzles strongly driven by narrative,” and will be a story about facing your fears. That may have something to do with the nightmarish monsters, though. We can see that our protagonist is a young girl, and the world is not kind to them…or to other children, as seen with the large amount of “Missing” posters. Not much is known about Gylt at this moment, though. You can check out the first teaser that was shown off below, which paints a pretty haunting picture so far. And during Google’s recent Stadia Connect stream, we were able to see their latest game to show off such strengths, Gylt. Announced games for the streaming service include Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Mortal Kombat 11, and DOOM: Eternal – games that definitely put Stadia through its paces straight out of the gate.With titles such as The Sexy Brutale, Rime, and The Invisible Hours under their belt, Tequila Works have quite the hefty amount of experience in developing strong narrative-based games. Set in a creepy and melancholic world, GYLT is an eerie story mixing fantasy and reality in a surrealist place where your nightmares become reality. Google has already secured a number of key partnerships with some of the industry’s biggest publisher on board such as Ubisoft, Sega, Square Enix, 2K, Bethesda, and Warner Bros. GYLT and related logos, characters, names, and distinctive likenesses thereof are the exclusive property of TEQUILA WORKS SL and used under exclusive license. Stadia’ lineup of games has been another area of discussion. Naturally there have been some concerns and criticisms, especially when it comes to connectivity and whether certain regions will have the online infrastructure required to get that optimum Stadia experience.
